Looking back to your preliminary task, what do you feel that you have learnt in the progression from it to the full product?

Looking back, I think the preliminary task helped a great deal, as going straight into the final task would have been very hard to master indeed, and we wouldn’t really know what we were doing.

The preliminary task helped us get used to camera shots and using the equipment and computer software, it made it a lot easier for us. The main thing is that it would have taken a lot more time if we hadn't of done it because we’d be getting stuck on how to use the editing programme, Adobe Premier Pro CS3, and how to import our scenes, however because we already knew how to use it, we were able to just upload it all and edit/save it within a few lessons. One thing which was very annoying was labeling the shots differently as the programme could only use a certain type of file.

In the first project we attempted, we didn't have nearly as much time, and the cameras we were given weren't as good as the final equipment used. Also we didn't use a dolly shot in the first project, but we did in the final project. This was a very useful piece of equipment to my partner and I.
